Safety tip - Do not cough whilst washing your hair when having a bath.  You suddenly discover that inhaling water is a very bad idea.  Also, if you're me, you get eyefuls of shampoo.  This is a BAD thing.

I just love being off sick - I get to discover hitherto unthought of ways of damaging myself.  Aside from the above mishap I almost kneed myself in the forehead whilst shaving a leg (due to the aforementioned cough).  Looks like accident-prone Jacquie is back again.

Joy of joys, Dad and Nessa have a whole pile of people coming over tonight for a curry.  Plus points include free food and alcohol.  Minus points include not infecting anybody else and trying not to hack up internal organs.

In other news, looks like I won't have to worry about special make-up tomorrow night.  Courtesy of this cold/flu/stomach bug thing I have at the moment, I'm doing pale and interesting all on my own.  The occasional bright red cheeks are slightly annoying however.  Now I just need to come up with a reason why a vampire would have a cough and be sneezing.
