Oh goody

Now I get to play one company off against another (well sort of). In an effort to get EMC to actually make a decision, I told them that I've received an offer from another company. Now they're saying they'll get back to me by the end of the week. This means I have to try and stall the other company - not too hard, considering the paperwork hasn't actually arrived yet. Hopefully, it won't be waiting for me when I get home tonight so I can push off actually accepting the offer until early next week.

God I love being in this situation. Occasionally I think I'm a little too honourable for my own good as I hate even contemplating mucking the other company about. I really don't want to accept their offer and then turn around a little later on and tell them that I'm actually going somewhere else.

On the plus side, I have a day off tomorrow, big party tomorrow night, the Cambridge thingy on Saturday and finish at P&G next Friday!
