Small furry animals....
Aug. 8th, 2005 02:37 pmshould die. Especially when the noise made by them running inside their wheel keeps you awake until after 2am and you have to get up at 6am. (The acoustics in my parents' house are very weird and you get to hear all sorts of weird and wonderful noises).
[For those of you wondering what the heck I'm talking about. my stepmother agreed to look after her cousin's youngest daughter's hamster for 2 weeks]
I was very cranky this morning (even more so than I normally am) and very, very sleepy. This is not good when you have a 50-mile drive into work, the vast majority of which is on the M25. It's also not good when you have to read an instruction manual and translate it into something that makes sense. I think I actually went to sleep for 10 minutes.
So be warned - if you see me this week, I may not be in a very good mood (dependent on how much sleep I manage to get for the rest of the week).
edit yay, the hamster (or small, furry minion of Satan as I've started calling it after 10:30pm) is going to be up in the front bedroom tonight. That means there's one whole floor between me and it. Yay for sleep!
