After a little messing about today, I found out that the company I'm temping at has decided they'd like me stay on until the end of June (the original contract was up last Friday). Whilst I appreciate the thought, I'm a little worried on two levels about this:
Of course, it would help to know if they have managed to sort out me transferring into their IT department on a full-time basis (assuming I get through the interview process of course). But as with most large companies, it won't be until I'm leaving to go to a permanent job that they'll start working it all out.
- If I'm still doing this particular job by then, I will have finally gone certifiably insane. Completely and utterly nuts, a total loony (and for all of you saying "but she already is", I mean more than normal).
- I want to have a "proper" job way before then. Mainly, 'cause the sooner I start a permanent, full-time job, the sooner I can move out of my parents house.
